To provide an efficient and professional reception and switchboard service, greeting clients in the office and on the telephone. Some administrative duties. Part-time working (3 days/wk, 8.30 am to 5.15 pm), with flexibility to provide full time cover (Mon to Fri), when required. This is a permanent position. |

Excellent communication skills and professional manner. Polite, clear and helpful telephone style. Good IT skills, inc use of e-mail. Previous experience of switchboard/reception work in a legal environment particularly desirable. |

BHP’s policy is to have up to three trainee solicitors employed within the firm at any one time, generally recruiting 2 trainees in one year, then 1 trainee the next. As a trainee at BHP, our policy is to ensure that you are fully integrated into a mixed legal environment gaining a basic understanding in a number of areas of law in line with Law Society requirements. Supporting other solicitors and staff, you will gain the benefit of their experience whilst working in a fully supervised environment. This is a contract/temporary position. |
