Zetland Hunt Point to Point

16th May 2011

AN equestrian event supported by a regional law firm has kick-started a summer of sport.

The annual May Day Bank Holiday Zetland Hunt point to point at Witton Castle, in County Durham, is, for many, the first sporting social event of the year.

Supported by BHP Law for over 15 years now, hundreds of guests including staff and clients of the firm were once again invited to enjoy the racing and try their luck with the bookmakers.

Claire Hewitt, business development manager at BHP Law, said: “A fantastic day with plenty of sunshine and we were delighted to see so many clients and colleagues come along with their families”

The BHP Law-sponsored Restricted Race was this year won by Once Before, ridden by Jo Foster.

Jo, from Ilkley, in West Yorkshire, and co-owner Mark Whitney, of Bedale, North Yorkshire, was presented with their winner’s trophy by Peter Blackett, Partner of BHP Law.
