Free Making a Will advice offered to Age Concern Clients

BHP Law has teamed up with a local charity to offer free advice to clients.

A CARING law firm has teamed up with a local charity to offer free advice to clients.

BHP Law has offered its services to clients of Age UK Durham (formerly Age Concern) by giving free guidance on making a will.

Free will days gave people the chance to visit Age UK in the city to find out the information they needed to put their affairs in order.

BHP Law’s head of wills, trust and probate Helen Biglin said: “This is an extra service that we are able to provide for Age UK. There is no charge at all to the client; it’s a free service.

“We like to play our part in the community and this is one way in which we can do that.

The free will days once again proved to be very popular with clients attending to receive the help and assistance they needed.

“We have helped provide a lot of people with peace of mind which makes the initiative really worthwhile. It has given me a sense of satisfaction knowing we have helped clients who may not normally attend a solicitor’s office.”

Helen has previously been a trustee for Age Concern and is aware of the needs of the charity’s clients.

Sarah Burchell, of Age UK Durham, said: “BHP has done an excellent job. We are very pleased to be working with them and our clients really appreciate the help and advice they receive.”
