7th Sep 2008
Regional law firm Blackett Hart & Pratt has strengthened its commercial and agricultural property team with the appointment of a new lawyer.
Nagina Hussain has joined the department’s team based at Durham having qualified in July.
Nagina, 26, specialised in commercial property as part of her traineeship with Archers in her home town of Stockton. The Teesside University law graduate also worked for Berrymans Lace Mawer in Stockton.
She said: “I wanted to join BHP because it’s a multi-disciplinary firm that is going places, is expanding and has a fantastic reputation in the industry and in the region.
“I spent six months working on commercial property during my training and it’s an area I really enjoy. I’m looking forward to the variety of work which will include development and investment, acquisition and disposal, and leasing of commercial and agricultural property.”
Nagina will work alongside Simon Robinson, team leader for commercial property and a partner in BHP, for a range of clients including property developers, banks and building societies.
