Traumatic Head & Brain Injuries

Providing advice and support for brain injured people and their families

BHP has a team of specialist personal injury solicitors and advisers with a wide range of experience in dealing with traumatic brain injury.

Our expertise is recognised by membership of the following:

We are also listed on the Headway (the brain injury association) Personal Injury Solicitors List.

How can we help you?

We understand that bringing a claim for compensation, whilst important in securing the financial wellbeing of our clients and the benefits that can bring, is only part of the process of dealing with the consequences of a serious brain injury.

We will support and guide you not only through the compensation process, but also the many practical difficulties that you and your family will face in the coming months and years.

How do we do this?

By giving you our time and expertise.
By including, we believe uniquely, as part of our team one of the most senior and experienced brain injury professionals in the country. He is available to provide advice and support to our clients and their families, as well as advice and guidance to our lawyers.

By making sure that you know who is dealing with your claim so that you know who to contact for information and help at all times.

Do I have a claim?

The only way to find out is to ask.

Even if you think there is no possible claim we are happy to talk it through with you to see if we can help. Asking will cost you nothing. Many successful claims have started from unpromising beginnings, but we will not waste your time and add to the pressures upon you if we believe there is no prospect of pursuing a successful case.

Compensation Advice

At BHP we have experience of dealing with high value and complex brain injury claims. We have recovered millions of pounds in compensation for our clients with brain injuries.

We are dedicated to obtaining the maximum compensation possible for our clients. In addition, our commitment is to achieve as far as possible, improvements in the quality of life and independence of our clients. This is one of the key goals of our team and one of the reasons we have brought into the team a brain injury professional who has committed himself to this for many years of his professional life.

We understand the need to secure, where possible, payments whilst the claim is ongoing (interim payments),
to provide:
Importantly, we also have the expertise necessary to ensure that compensation obtained is properly protected and to provide financial and tax planning advice.

Funding your claim

We will advise on the best way to fund your compensation claim. There may be more than one option available and we will discuss the options with you to ensure you make the best choice.

Our aim is to ensure that you have the means to fight your case without the risk of having to pay any legal costs, whatever the outcome of your claim. We will take suitable cases on a “no win no fee” basis.

We offer a free "no obligation" inital consultation and will visit you in your own home or at hospital if you prefer.
