Terry Hamer

Terry Hamer is a partner and solicitor who heads up litigation for BHP and has children panel membership and is an accredited duty solicitor.

As a partner with his previous firm of Walton Hardy and Clough he wrote and implemented systems which allowed his firm to become one of the first franchise solicitors in Darlington.

Terry has extensive litigation experience in both the civil and criminal courts appearing regularly before Judges, Magistrates and tribunals throughout the North East and indeed, has actually been as far as field as Barnett and Chester because of clients confidence in his abilities.

Whilst Terry heads up the family and criminal team for the firm he has a particular interest in representing clients on matters relating to Environmental Health, Inland Revenue, Trading Standards and all issues connected with the family.

Terry tends to litigate personally and quite regularly takes on Counsel with a very good degree of success and client satisfaction. As head of one of the largest teams in BHP the support that is available to him is extensive and experienced.

High value complicated environmental or divorce issues are well within Terrys capabilities and clients quite often find a solicitor who will see the matter to the end including Court advocacy a real advantage.
