Supporting a Non-professional Deputy

In some situations, a friend or family member will be the right person to act as deputy, but sometimes they will need extra help and guidance.  As well as acting as deputy for clients directly, we also advise lay (non-professional) deputies on their role and obligations.  It may be that they need to know how to handle a particular situation, need help completing the annual return, or have to do something more complex such as making an application to Court.

Whatever the situation we are happy to use our expertise to guide you or your deputy.  We can help in one-off situations, or will keep a file open indefinitely and provide guidance as and when you need it.
