Richard Baker

Richard is a former partner of the highly respected local firm of James & Baker solicitors of Thornaby, Stockton on Tees and has practiced in the field of Family Law since being admitted to the Roll of solicitors in 1977. Richard is a specialist divorce lawyer with vast experience in all matters associated with divorce, in particular, financial settlements, disputes about residence and contact arrangements for children and maintenance.

Richard is also an expert in the resolution of disputes between separating, unmarried couples and the difficult issues that arise regarding interests in jointly owned property.

Since the merger of James & Baker with BHPLaw in 2007, Richard has been based at our new offices at Preston Farm, where he continues to work in the same areas.
