Melanie Leadbitter

Melanie Leadbitter is a Solicitor and Partner in the firm.

Melanie lives in Halifax. She attended Hipperholme Grammar School and then Leeds Metropolitan University, from which she graduated in 2000 with an LLB (Hons). Melanie continued to study at Leeds Metropolitan University for the post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice from which she graduated in 2001 with distinction.

Melanie went on to do her training contract with a well known firm within the Cleckheaton area and qualified as a Solicitor in the summer of 2003.

On qualification, Melanie joined Clarksons Solicitors as a member of the Conveyancing department and became a Partner with the firm in 2006. Clarksons Solicitors merged with BHP in April 2008 and now trade as BHP Clarksons.
