David Birks

David Birks joined Blackett Hart & Pratt LLP in April 2006. David formerly served as a police officer for nine years, after which he joined the North Yorkshire Trading Standards, working with their Consumer Advice Team and then moving on to the Special Investigations Team which was responsible for the enforcing of Trade Marks and Copyright Law. He joined BHP from Dickinson Dees where he specialised in insolvency, in particular Company Directors Disqualifications Act work. Based in Teesside, he specialises in insolvency, bankruptcy and commercial litigation, and also advises businesses and individuals in areas of consumer law.
