Ursula Collie

Ursula Collie is a partner in BHP’s Commercial Litigation Team. She joined BHP in 1996 having previously been a litigation partner with Darbys solicitors in Oxford.

She deals with commercial contract litigation and works with BHP’s Company Team on contentious aspects of the Team’s work. This sometimes involved an element of insolvency or restructuring advice.

In addition she specialises in property litigation, a broad field including

•Commercial landlord and tenant disputes;
•Property disputes concerning ownership of land, easements such as rights of way or light, or the enforcement of covenants;
•Adverse possession (“squatters rights”).

She deals with complex disputes over land often involving family trusts, wills or intestacies, or an agricultural element. She also handles disputed probate and claims under the estates of deceased persons.
