Dismissal & Discrimination Advice

All employers should be aware that in October 2004 the Government introduced a statutory dismissal procedure.

This procedure sets out simple steps which must be taken by an employer when contemplating dismissal, while there is also a procedure which has to be followed when dealing with employees’ grievances.

Lawyers and advisers at BHP are at hand to assist any employer contemplating dismissal of an employee to ensure that the correct procedures are followed from the outset.

Despite being introduced some time ago, many employers remain unaware of these procedures or have difficulty following them.
